Actor and environmentalist Leonardo DiCaprio’s namesake foundation has just awarded $15 million dollars in grants to more than 20 “trusted non-profits, results-driven conservation projects, and collaborative initiatives across the world.”

An early and influential voice for environmental and conservation issues, DiCaprio’s Foundation has taken the lead in identifying projects that can have a major impact on the health and habitability of our planet.

Like many of us, DiCaprio believes, “We have a responsibility to innovate a future where the habitability of our planet does not come at the expense of those who inhabit it.”
